“No, no,” whispered a small voice, followed by a rustling of fabric. Movement instantly caught Monty’s sharp eye as Kaiyo rolled over in his hammock, his hands tucked up close to his face, which was scrunched up, not as if in pain, but in fear. The boy was still clearly fast asleep, but his arms and legs were twitching, his eyelids shifting almost imperceptibly as though he was frantically looking around in his dreams, and little wisps of that bright orange spirit were flickering from his wrists to his fingertips, illuminating his young face and casting it in shadows that made him look even smaller, even more alone.

During the party, amidst the celebrations and the drinking and the merriment, Lae'zel slips away to find Wyll.
If you choose not to romance Lae'zel, there's a chance that, at the tiefling party, she'll try to seek satisfaction with one of the other party members instead. If you ask her how it went the next morning, her response about Wyll is that he "only wanted to talk." This is that scene.
