he should've seen it coming.
he was the one who stopped visiting jisung at the hospital, the one who kept making excuses to not go to his and renjun's daily hangouts, the one who avoided jeno in any way he could. jisung's calls begging to be picked up, renjun's unread messages piling up to a frankly unfathomable number, and jeno even attempting to break his apartment's door at some point; he was the one who ignored all those advances.
and yet, somehow, he still didn't see it coming.
perhaps, he did see it coming; he just didn't think it was going to be this bad. but hey, this is the right decision, right? his friends would've been happier without his pathetic self bothering them with every thing he does, after all. the way he always says the wrong thing, the way he keeps on messing everything up, the way he's so fucking pitiful and laughable compared to anyone else — even if he doesn't want to, it's better for him to just leave, right?
