They said that stanning starts with wanting to know a name. Megumi wondered what the label was for him, someone who now knew Yuuji’s name, his height, blood type, and favorite food. He knew the name of his dog and his two siblings, what time he woke up and when he went to sleep based on his online activity. Hell, what would be said about him, who had covered his walls with posters of Yuuji, pictures of him he’d printed from Instagram, spent more time staring at those pictures than he did actually living out his life?
And yet, Megumi still needed more. This parasocial relationship he had with Yuuji was no longer enough to sustain him; he wanted their relationship to extend beyond the screen, to not be so one-sided.
He needed Yuuji to know him, too.

When the door clicks shut behind Yamada, Gojo pulls back. His pupils are blown wide, a dark ring around a searing blue, and the flush on his cheeks has nothing to do with embarrassment. Mouth parted slightly, his breath brushes Yuuji’s face like static.
