“Come on, Tobio,” Oikawa says as he tugs Kageyama onto his feet, fingers circling around Kageyama’s wrists. Kageyama’s barely able to balance all the empty trash on the tray he’s holding onto with one hand. There’s warmth coming from Oikawa’s touch, the kind that crowds itself on Kageyama’s skin and makes him shift. “We have a lot to do today. I don’t want you dying on me out there.”
Oikawa and Kageyama make it to Los Angeles.

“Looks like you brought a party with you.”
Kageyama startles upon hearing Oikawa’s voice. He can only see the vague outline of Oikawa’s profile and the peek of bandages across his skin. Kageyama’s hands fumble together, suddenly preoccupied with tugging on the bouquet’s plastic here and there to fix it, mind racing to try and find the right words to say, before Kageyama speaks. “I was let through the door like this.”
Kageyama begins to visit Oikawa after an unfortunate incident.
