Fox can remember the Chancellor raising a hand, and then electric light burning brighter than anything he’d witnessed before. He can recall some sense of loss; some great weight lifting off of him, or perhaps just something being ripped away. He can even remember caring about it, in the moment.
After the moment, he finds himself struggling to care much about anything at all.
