Summary
Children of Athena do not have belly buttons because they are born from thought but do have at least some trepidation when a spider appears in the highly fortified cabin.
Most of us know that a legacy of Hephaestus is bound to be amazing at anything related to mechanics and so on.Now, what happens if you smash a child of Athena with a legacy of Hephaestus? You get…Peter Parker. His dad, a son of Hephaestus, died in a plane crash with his wife six years after having Peter with Athena.
Ben and May took him in just like last time. However, Ben dies in a building collapse during a horrible fire. This leads to a ‘with great power comes great responsibility’ vacuum because Peter gets singled out by one genetically modified spider when he is thirteen, three years after Ben had passed.
Does not being Spider-Man in this universe change things? Does it keep Peter and Ned, a son of Hecate, from seeing the really weird monsters (different but no less dangerous than the aliens that invaded two years ago) that invade while everyone is mysteriously asleep? And why are the kids who are fighting dressed in orange?
