“Yes, well,” she begins, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear, only for it to immediately fall back into her face, “that’s a bit different, isn’t it? Things between Imogen and I aren’t… you know.” She doesn’t blush, doesn’t flush with blood the way other people do, but the feeling is still there, the desire to turn her eyes away from him. “Romantic.” She shimmies a little, makes the word silly so it doesn’t burn with so much shame.
