Running was all Tommy ever knew. Whether it was from one house, to another. Or away from one person, just to find himself trapped by another all over again. It was all he ever knew and he was fine with that. He never ran into any problems. Only from them.
Hiding in one spot, only to be found. You’d think it was futile, not to Tommy. Tommy swore to himself he wouldn’t stop hiding, not until his body gave out.

The Watson house hold. Notorious for being that of the perfect family. Going to charity events, hosting parties. A perfect notion for a perfect blood line. The father coming from a different country, the mother working a government job; the three children being scholars in school. Even their dogs being the pinnacle of perfection. Perfectly groomed fur, beautiful colors, excellent behavior. The entire family was absolutely perfect.
Everyone thought so too! The smiths, the schlatts, the beloveds, everyone. They were known as the only perfect thing that came from the neighborhood they lived in. No one gossiping about them because there was nothing to gossip about. No one who was on their bad side, nothing was wrong.

Jayce is left navigating through the early stages of parenthood alone all while holding down a job and raising his 3 year old child.
The four year anniversary of Viktor's disappearance is due and Jayce tries not to dwell on it. But it gets significantly harder when everything reminds him of Viktor.
Already having quite a bad day he gets cut off by a motorcyclist on his way to work, to end up meeting the same motorcyclist in his lab.
