Summary
It's been two years since Ghost lost his partner, Roach, and the man is not handling it well. Life goes on, and Price recruits another Shifter sergeant to fill the spot Roach left, assigning Ghost as the man's Handler.
Ghost has to learn how to navigate Handling a wolfdog Shifter that's more insubordinate than Roach had ever been. Their bond grows, and Ghost has to confront the horrifying ordeal of loving someone after losing Roach.
