He sighed through his nose, and Yosano looked at him through the rear view mirror. Was it just his imagination, or was she smirking at him? “Don’t worry, Atsushi. It’s not going to be that scary, you just have to go in and buy one little thing.”
Ranpo snickered. Atsushi closed his eyes. This was his fault for starting bets with the both of them in the first place – he hardly ever won, and now the price was simply too high to pay. His dignity, or what remained of it, was what was left on the line. He swallowed, his face pinched like he’d tasted something sour. “What do I have to buy again…?”

So, okay. The two of them hadn’t come out and said anything to anyone in the agency yet, but it was clear they were dating. The hand holding and petting and hugging aside, the way they looked at each other made it super obvious. But because they hadn’t said anything, the president had told them all not to gossip and let the couple announce it when they were ready. Naomi had confided in her that she’d hoped a romantic lakehouse setting would get them to just say something already, but looking at them now Yosano wasn’t sure it was so much a secret as it was that it was so natural and easy to them they just hadn’t felt the need to put it into words.

Summary

Dazai stares, face too comical for words. He holds up a photo where him and Atsushi are clearly, unabashedly eating face. "Looks pretty gay to me."
Atsushi loses his memory in an accident, and wakes up thinking he is 17 years-old. There's a lot to take in, especially the fact that 24-year-old Atsushi is not only gay, but has a gorgeous boyfriend.

It was a strange start to what one would call a relationship: They had yet to go on a date, yet to talk about their feelings.
One might ask how the hell had they gotten together then? The answer was simple.
Atsushi's eyes went to Ranpo, casually munching on his chips like he hadn't turned Atsushi's universe upside down and inside out two days ago, bless him.
Where Atsushi and Dazai get together in the stupidest way possible, go on a date, Atsushi struggles to drop the formalities and Dazai makes sure that he does.
