Summary
Starscream married Thundercracker, it wasn't great but it was his life. He made it work. Thundercracker wanted a sparkling, and well, Starscream didn't. Obviously that's why he never kindled, you have to want it to hold a new spark, and Starscream... didn't.
It was okay, everything was fine. At least it was until Thundercracker died in a midair crash, and Starscream finds out that not only was there a prenup in place, Thundercracker had a misstress and an heir. Left with nothing, Starscream knows he's on borrowed time until his creators formally disown him.
With nothing left to loose Starscream goes to Prowl's debutant ball with nothing but the intent to get as overcharged as he can. Instead he meets Prowl and everything changes.

Summary
Prowl is a student working nights as an exotic dancer at Kup's club. The hours suit him and it pays well enough, even if it would would pay better if he offered additional services like the other dancers, but prowl doesn't do that. He doesn't do private dance's.
As for Lockdown, well prowl's caught his eye, and he's not going to let this one go without a fight.

But I've had the unfortunate pleasure of seeing the inside of his work briefcase"—he jerked a thumb over his shoulder toward the fluffy pink dancer on the nightclub's main stage—"and so I can assure you, there is nothing you could have wired to your groin that is either novel to me or appealing to me. Enjoy your evening." Alastor spun on one foot and trotted off.
"It's a microphone."
Alastor stopped five steps away. "What kind."
Part 2:

"Ohhh god," Vox groaned, spreading his knees wider. "I seriously underestimated how hot this was going to be."

There are any number of things that Lan Xichen might be about to say. He might be about to say, “A-Yao, will you cook breakfast while I bathe in the river?” But then, there is a gravity to his tone, and a flush on his cheeks. So perhaps it will be, “A-Yao, will you do that thing with your tongue?” Or even more thrillingly, “A-Yao, will you teach me how to do that thing with your tongue?”
Lan Xichen does not say any of these things. He says, “A-Yao, will you marry me? If we both survive the war, will you marry me?”

Lan Xichen proposes before the war. Somehow, through the property of transitivity, Wei Wuxian becomes Meng Yao’s problem to solve.
