While walking trough the desert in Alabasta, Ace and Luffy fell through a sand hole into a little room made out of stone. There was nothing in the room exept thet something was carved into a wall. The next thing they know is that they crashed onto a ship with some familiar looking people.

Summary

Summary
Dracule Mihawk was the name of a little boy hated by his family and who felt too much for a respectable hunter. The boy ended up disowned by the rest of the hunters because he refused to kill his best friend whose life was connected to a demon. Dracule Mihawk ended up forgotten in the history books after the massacre of the Dracule family by a coalition of vampires.

However, over the centuries, the hunter had become overconfident which caused his downfall. Hawkeyes paid for his neglect for 117 years until a strange red haired vampire saved his life.
