"Soundwave was a lot of things.
He was a father (surrogate, of course, but a father nonetheless) to four mini-cons, each of which he loved equally and would without a doubt trade the world for (even if Megatron disagreed). He was a loving, caring father who would put his family above all else, even himself if need be.
Growing up, he never had much. Outcast for his abilities that no other seemed to possess, and used by the high and mighty as a tool to keep information in check while maintaining control over the less fortunate. He wasn’t alive in their eyes, even in his own. He was but a tool."Set in the Prime-verse, just some classy Soundwave angst :)
