Lance Stroll was once an extrovert. Not anymore.
Sometimes, evidence is difficult to see. People change, and grow, and it's not always easy to see.
A thing that couldn't change though was how most of the paddock could agree on liking Lance. Not everyone wanted to hear them talk about how kind the man was, how a good-hearted soul he was.
Lance Stroll could count on his friends to keep him safe.

“I wasn’t ready,” he tries, grip tightening when Cheng Xiaoshi tries to take the controller from him. “One more time.”
“Go for it, then, but I hope you're prepared to lose.” Cheng Xiaoshi laughs again, letting the controller go and pressing his forehead to Lu Guang’s shoulder as he shakes, grinning. He’s so warm. Has he always been this touchy?
Could Lu Guang have been making him smile like this in every timeline since the first? Looking hurts his chest. He squeezes the controller a little tighter. “...Everyone needs a few tries to succeed.”
