“Yeah, and you know what else is stupid? Your stupid face, your stupid clothes, your stupid smile, your stupidly pretty ha-” Only then did Feng Xin realise what he was saying, and he shut his mouth immediately, freezing.

The previous night, Feng Xin had asked for his help picking an outfit for some unspecified event. Mu Qing was confused by the request because Feng Xin had never asked him for fashion advice before. Actually, Mu Qing is pretty sure he’s never seen the man wear anything but sweatpants and hoodies, and he’s not sure how well those can be styled. Curiosity got the better of him and he agreed to help. He regretted it almost immediately when he saw what kind of clothes he was choosing from. It was all formal, dress wear.
His heart lurched realizing Feng Xin was undoubtedly asking him for help picking an outfit for a date. When had Feng Xin planned on dating? In all the years he’s known Fen Xin, he’s never once seen him go out on a date. Feng Xin can barely be in the same room with a woman. There’s no way he’d be able to have a relationship with one. He knows Feng Xin has only dated one girl and that was when he wasn’t around to see it.

“Feng Xin...” he whispered as the name disappeared and the screen turned black. A familiar pit formed in his stomach, and for a moment, he felt like he might finally be devoured by that all-consuming emptiness.
OR: Mu Qing fell in love with the guy who moved halfway across the world. You know, like an idiot. Don’t worry though, because Feng Xin did the same thing and intends to do something about it.

We, now, pray to General Nan Yang to take care of you?" He crumpled the paper. "What the hell is this?!"
He furrowed his brows despite slender fingers attempting to soothe the wrinkles, not to mention the throbbing headache returning to him tenfold when he had just drunk a hangover tea to relieve it. "What is the meaning of this? What marriage? Are these worshippers okay?!"
The deputy flinched, shaking his head. "I-I don't know, General. I just learned about it now, too."
"Find out where this rumor started—"
"It came from the Palace of Ming Guang, General."
Basically, Feng Xin and Mu Qing got too drunk and tied the knot before their equally drunk friend, Pei Ming, aka the God of Love.
