Liam felt a slight smirk grace his face as he hauled up Theo as carefully as possible.
"I'm fine," Theo's voice sounded even raspier and snappier than usual and Liam would've had half a mind to throw him back on the ground, but Theo's eyes were still focused on his skirt.
"Say it to my face then," Liam's eyes twinkled smugly as he watched the tips of Theo's ears go pink.
Holy shit.
Or Liam stupidly taking a bet of wearing skirts for an entire week, and watching as he deals with life for that week. And there's also a particular chimera that's fighting for his life because of that bet.

He scanned his eyes even further to see Liam's head ducked into the passenger door of Mason's car where he seemed to be having an animated conversation with the couple. He continued to ignore Alec's childish sound effects in favor of asking, "Well if I'm the bait, then why does Liam look like... that?" He jerked his head outside.
The young werewolf followed his eyes and smirked widely. "Oh, so Liam was the reason why you were foaming at the mouth when I walked over here." He sing-songed with waggling eyebrows. He gasped, unnecessarily dramatic, "Is that why you didn't hear a single word of Scott's mouth? Oh dude, you are so gone, it's hard to watch."
Or
Theo is just trying to get by without being absorbed into the madness of the pack, and Alec, the little shit, is of no help. And neither is Liam, with his stupid, overwhelming presence.

Theo shrugged. "Dunno. You were on a coffee boost?"
"Yeah, actually, but not what you think. To many people's horror across the globe, and rightfully so, I drunk black coffee." Liam put a hand over his heart in mock disenchantment for his morals.
If it were even possible, Theo's eyebrows flew up higher than they did before. "Did you now?" He spoke with a teasing edge to his tone.
"I did. And it was fucking horrible."
Theo laughed. Like honest to God laughed. That was the most unguarded Liam had seen Theo look, and oh, a sight to behold it was. Liam ignored the increased patter of heart palpitations that was taking place in his body in favor of staring at the man next to him with only a singular thought running through his brain:
Gorgeous.

Klaus turned towards her, with his hands crossed behind his back. He sighed, and then looked directly into her eyes. "Camille, I don't think you understand the gravity of the situation you put yourself in. As much as I am grateful for you coming to my rescue, why did you put yourself in danger? I was told that you were the one who held the knowledge that I was captured by Lucien. Why didn't you just ignore it? I was almost certain that after the night I left town, you did not want to be involved with me in any way."
He was looking at her with too much intensity for Cami's liking. With the tone he was using, it was almost as if he was accusing her for something.
She looked away from his eyes and let out a little scoff, crossing her arms in the process. "I'm sorry, did you want me to forget what I saw? Would you have rathered me not say anything, and just let your family worry over your whereabouts? Would you have rathered me not to care at all?!"

“C’mon—socialization is good for you!” Liam insisted. Theo heard the distinct sound of a zipper and was pretty damn sure that Liam was already packing a bag. “You’re basically a recluse.”
“I work five days a week,” Theo argued as he made a U-turn at the stop light he’d pulled up to. “I already get too much socialization.”
“You’re a paramedic—most of the people you’re around are dying.”
“Yeah, and if I have to deal with your annoying ass being trapped in a vehicle with me for two hours, one of us will be dying, too.”
“Please, you know I’m your favorite.”
Theo really wished he could deny it, but that stupid little wolf had gotten under his skin in the most irritating, intimate way he’d ever experienced.
“If you’re not outside when I drive by, I’m gonna keep driving.”
