“Master? Is that you?”
It’s too dark in the hole the blast has created for them to make out any details, but Obi-Wan can see a dark silhouette finally get to his feet a few feet away from him. The figure is too short, not quite lean enough, to be Anakin. Obi-Wan watches helplessly as Anakin – or should he say, himself – steps into the faint light emanating from the holocron.
There’s a long moment of silence, broken only by Anakin saying, voice still hoarse but distinctively Obi-Wan-esque, “What in sithhells is going on?”

When the only Jedi sect in all of Kalevala falls to a Sith attack, crèchemaster Obi-Wan Kenobi flees with the six younglings he has taken under his wing. Tired of waiting for this Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan decides to get his soulmate tattoo covered up by an artist named Rex.
What he doesn't know is that Rex has ducked off to lunch when he comes into the tattoo shop. What he doesn't know is Anakin Skywalker, local tattoo artist, has stayed behind. What he doesn't know is that Anakin has no intention of correcting Obi-Wan's assumption that he's Rex, just like he has no intention of covering up his own name on Obi-Wan's forearm.
Meanwhile, Anakin's sure that at least one relationship built on lies has turned out alright in the end. Probably at least one. Right?

Summary
“Anakin,” Obi-Wan murmurs, not moving. “Anakin, dear heart, you’re home. Wake up. Listen to me, be a good boy,” he cajoles, he coos; he stays as still as a mouse listening for a cat.
Eyes dark, Anakin blinks at Obi-Wan as if he’s a stranger and not the man who taught him how to tie a fishing line, how to carve a piece of wood into a horse, and do sums in his head.
But as frightening as that blankness is, it’s even worse when bleak recognition seeps into them.
“I… damn and blast.” Anakin’s features twist with despair. “Again.”
