“What is it, Upper one?” Akaza asked
Kokushibo paused for a few long moments, Hands clenching into the sheets. “You have never let anyone attempt to court you.” He stated, Eyes boring into the omega’s. “Not even during heats.”
He hesitated before asking the next question, Part of him was unsure if he was even able to ask this. “Why is that?”
Akaza hesitated, Did he really want to admit this to Kokushibo of all demons? Not really, But the dumb omega part of him wanted to get this off his chest.
“It feels like I’m betraying someone if I get interested in another. I don’t remember who they are or what their gender or secondary gender was, I don’t know if I remember their scent, It just has a tug in the back of my mind that it’s wrong, That I should be with them instead.” He explained with tired eyes.
It felt like a punch as the realization that the person Akaza was trying to be loyal to, was most likely gone was…Heartbreaking.
“You don’t even remember them?” He asked quietly.
“No,” Akaza replied, staring up at the ceiling quietly

Permanently.
Perhaps the fool is really Skull, for thinking the Arcobaleno will let him go after all their years together.
