Summary
The thing about going from fearing for your life, fighting for it, and near constant pain was that when it stopped, something felt wrong.
The war was over and logically, Izuku knew that. Everyone around him reminded him that it was okay to still be shaken up by it, and that his body was still in its fight or flight mode. So Izuku knew exactly why he was reacting the way he was.
He understood it perfectly, he could rationalize it and use those big words his therapist fed to him to explain why he was constantly on edge.
But even with all that, he couldn't stop wanting to hurt.
And maybe that's why Izuku found himself sitting on his bed with a razor blade in hand.

He knew the day would be bad from the start.He moves towards the closed door, hand shaking. He isn't scared of what he'll see. Bakugou Katsuki is never scared.
He closes his eyes, holds his breath and twists the knob, as he gently opens the door.
Katsuki puts his head in his hands and cries.
He knew today was going to be bad.'
Or Bakugou finds Izuku after he attempted and they have to deal with shit.
!!UPDATE!! I am still working on this, it is not abandoned. I plan on making this a two-shot (or a four-shot if i can be bothered) and the next chapter should be ready in the next week. (Update written 25th October, 2025)

They don't mean it, he knows. And he never brings it up. And tries to hide his insecurity from others.
