Miles shot him a raised eyebrow, placing the pans on the table soundlessly.
“It’s 2.50 a.m. That means it’s definitely not 3 in the morning. It’s almost 3 in the morning.”
Phoenix was avoiding his incredulous look, both mismatched eyes focused on the pots. He dumped them on the counter next to Miles’s stack with a clang.
Miles wakes up at 2.45 a.m. to find a very snarky Phoenix on the kitchen floor.
