Summary
Once, humanity was simple. They were kept from evolving or developing. They were kept alive by Traits, semi-physical beings sustained by gemstones. When Creativities were introduced to them, they began to utilize the world around them more. They became independent, forming societies. The Divines intended to abandon humanity and destroy it to prevent humans from overtaking them. When this became apparent, several rebels stood to protect humanity. When the turmoil was over, they formed a system. Groups of Traits would bond with a newborn human and that human would be their host. They would keep their secret while guiding humanity.
On the 24th of April in 1989, a new host was born. Logic, Morality, Deceit, Paranoia, and, miraculously, not one, but two Creativities met together around him.
Their new mission? Love, teach, protect, inspire, and defend Thomas.(In other words, veterans of an ancient war become guardians of an incredibly cute baby.)
