Scott froze, all of the carefully studied selkie lore now finally came, all too late, to the front of his tired mind. He wanted to groan in disbelief at what he had done or at the very least face-palm at himself. He was sure that the Hale Pack behind him was working hard not to do the same. Scott certainly heard Stiles’ curbed snigger anyway.
