Jimin glances at him, amusement swimming in his eyes like spangled light through water. “I expect you to show up and dazzle the court as is your habit.” He swivels back to Taehyung’s gelding, idly smoothing his palm up and down its neck in firm mindful motions. “More importantly,” Jimin says. “I want you to dazzle me. Impress me, my prince. My Taehyungie.”
The pet names seem as though they’re tacked on as afterthoughts, so delicate they could dissolve like sugar in tea. But on Jimin’s tongue, through him, they’re as heavy and as prized as gemstones measured in something that resembles devotion. Fealty. Intimacy as familiar and as worn as their friendship.
(or, Prince Kim Taehyung and Heir Apparent Park Jimin partake in each other's courtly games. Fortunately for both of them, nothing goes as planned).

they’re doing a scene tonight with jimin, but, as jeongguk reminds taehyung, they were instructed to behave. plans change though and jimin’s always made it crystal clear that they’re allowed to bring in suggestions to the table or modify the rules or the scene so long as they consult him first.

both jimin and he have been excited about tonight. eight days ago, yoongi rang them up to share with them the news that seokjin’s been promoted at his company. on the phone, yoongi tentatively suggested for jimin and taehyung to celebrate seokjin with him.
with their enthusiasm palpable, the three of them got together to plan it. yoongi passingly and too casually mentioned that seokjin seemed to really enjoy taehyung’s and jimin’s play session at their apartment that time.

“taehyungie,” jimin says. “we don’t have to kiss if you don’t want to,” he promises. “this is why you can’t clam up, tae,” he says, clearly aiming for it to be their inside joke. taehyung freely laughs and brings up his other hand to lie atop jimin’s fingers that are still wrapped around his wrist. “if you even begin to feel uncomfortable or panicky, you have to tell me. i won’t ever take offense or something stupid like that, because verbal and enthusiastic consent is the cutest and the sexiest thing ever.”
taehyung chokes and has to finally get up from his position, hurriedly tucks his legs underneath him and instantly, naturally, interlinks his fingers with jimin’s. “consent is sexy?” he asks, wide-eyed and wonderous. “what do you—what’s that mean?”
(or, taehyung and jimin go to a lake house together and everything begins to unravel. or to come together).

Horror strikes him down where he stands, then. He sways, stumbles to put his back to the living room wall. Harry is woozy in disbelief, watching the two words slashed into his chest in livid red just like the scar on his forehead. ‘AVADA KEDAVRA.’
He knows those words, the first he can remember, his earliest memory. It feels like he hasn’t breathed in minutes. When he comes back to the moment, he finds that perhaps he hasn’t. Harry gasps for air like a fish does for water, and doesn’t find it. His back has slid down the wall somehow and his hands grip his head, hair clenched in fists.
Then he realizes he’s actually panting, a ringing in his ears, blocking out whatever it is people are saying to him. Hermione crouches in front of him where he can’t possibly miss her, palms settling gently on his knees.
“Harry,” she’s saying. “Harry, it’s going to be alright.”
