Summary
In a world ruled by Dominants, Maverick always knew his freedom had an expiration date. Submissives couldn't just live their lives, especially in the Navy. When the time comes for a Dominant to take over Maverick, he's not expecting to hear that his biggest rival for Top Gun trophy is on top of the list of volounteers.
He has options, an illusion of a choice, with only one outcome - say yes, to avoid a worse fate, and allow Iceman to take control. Unfortunately for Maverick, the Dominant isn't in a forgiving mood, and nothing hits Submissives quite as hard as public claiming.
