Summary
Martin pushes himself to his elbows with a quiet grunt and Jon stares up at him in slack-mouthed wonder. Martin is wild-eyed, wild-haired radiance. A tentative grin splits his flushed, handsome face, sweaty curls sticking to his temples. “Alright?” he asks, and Jon nods, awestruck and mute. Broad fingers dig into Jon’s hair, a thumb rubbing over his orbital bone. Jon realises he has folded his hands over his chest and is lying there, still and ecstatic, underneath his lover’s body like the statue of a catholic saint.
“What do you want?” Martin asks.
“I—I don’t know.” Jon’s voice is rough and halting. “I haven’t done any—anything like this since my first year of Uni, and I never felt—” Never felt safe? Seen? In love?
Jon exhales with a wince. “Sorry.”
“Okay, you’ve got to stop apologising,” Martin says, voice cracking, and smiles, and anoints Jon’s forehead with a tender, shaky kiss.
Or
Jon has a (mortifying) fit of libido. For once, he decides to not take care of it himself. Martin is happy (Excited? Extremely enthusiastic?) to help.

Summary
Martin wrapped the dazed man in his coat and lifted him into a bridal carry, hugging Jon to his chest in hopes of warming him up.
He wondered at how light and small he was. Martin remembered the force with which Jon had pulled him through the water; his larger than life, looming presence at dawn on the beach.
Now he was just a frail, too cold bundle of limbs in Martin’s arms, bare legs cramping with painful looking spasms. Beside his shallow, straining breath, he had not made a sound.
There was something very wrong with the man who had saved his life.

"It’s kind of ironic." Jon slightly lifted his right foot in the stiff grey boot and glared at it. "I used to heal almost instantly, and now these stupid bones refuse to heal at all."
Gerry frowned, bemused. This wasn’t exactly news. But then again…
"Shit. It’s been six months, hasn’t it."
Jon nodded. "It’s officially shifted from delayed union to nonunion. I’m scheduled for surgery on the 7th."

Jon has to go back to hospital to get his ankle fixed. It’s absolutely no big deal, right?

Tim shrugs, a bit defensively. “I don’t know! I just— like, if he were doing something shady, wouldn’t it make a bit more sense for him acting the way he’s been acting?”
“So you think he’s, what, coordinating London’s drug trade?” Jon says doubtfully. “He— no, he’s not the type.”
“Look, maybe it’s not drugs! Maybe it’s like...I dunno, human trafficking! Weapons deals! One of those mills that makes coats out of puppies Cruella de Ville style!" Tim protests, wagging a finger at him like he's not just talking nonsense. Jon can only roll his eyes in response, his grandmother’s words echoing in his head about how they’ll get stuck like that if he keeps it up. "...Or...”
Jon raises an eyebrow. “Or...?”
“Or...” Tim echos, drumming his fingers on the steering wheel. They roll to a slow, jerky stop. “He could just...not be human.”Jon's boyfriend — ex-boyfriend, he supposes at this point — is ghosting him. With the strange illness he's seemingly contracted since their last date, this may be the least of his problems.

The strings wrapped him in their web, starting from his chest and twisting and fluttering around him.
There were friends at the ends of these strings, Mr. Spider had told him as a child. He just had to follow the strings where they lead.
There were victims at the ends of these strings, The Mother had told him. They would be delicious.With curiosity, Jon reached out and let the bright red string curl around his finger freely. The most beautiful, he thought. It tightened around him. In response, Jon gave it a gentle tug.
Instantly, his vision was overtaken.
Tea, made perfectly with milk and a dash of sugar and a lot of love. A deep, deep loneliness. A lie on a resume. White fog, dusty shelves full of documents, a sound like wet pasta. Fear, fear, fear. Jon’s face, all eight of his eyes open, gazing sharply at something behind him.
Love, love, love. So much love.
A gunshot.
“Martin!” Jon gasped, coming to. “Who the hell is Martin?”
Or:
Jon doesn't escape Mr. Spider, and becomes a child avatar of the Web. This changes some things, but not others.
