It feels like Tokimitsu’s neck is solid concrete so he cannot even nod. He glares at the ball at his feet and hears Loki call his name and shoots another penalty–it goes in the top left corner.

Summary
Right now, the burnt side of his face resembles a shapeless slab of meat. The non-burnt side isn’t too good either, stuck in a pathetic kind of resignation. The mercenary is used to seeing this face set in stone-cold determination, black eye burning sometimes too wild and having to be told to step down; but that type of vivacity feels foreign to this new emotion he didn’t think he’d ever see on the man.
Naib decides that this is the very worst type of prospector, simply because he is unrecognizable. This is not Norton Campbell. This is not the man he relies on during a crisis. It is so hard to swallow that he has to physically bite back an indignated rant.
Naib realizes the assumption he made about people not being able to die in Oletus manor might be wrong.
