On their way to the Arctic in the Stan o' War, Ford and Stan dock at an Alaskan mining town for supplies. Before they know it, they're pulled into a hunt for a mysterious creature that's possessing and killing local oil field workers.
Basically an excuse to write lots of sibling banter, high-stakes cryptid hunts, and that sweet, sweet hurt/comfort.

Just like that, she pulled away. Marcille jolted at a brush over her collarbone. Falin hadn’t moved either completely away or toward the edge of the bed. Instead, she was hovering over Marcille and sliding down her body.
“Oh,” Marcille mumbled. “Oh!” she said again, realizing fully that food had never been specified, when Falin’s sharp teeth grazed her nipple.

Falin’s reverent whisper floats up from her place between Marcille’s legs. The words come out so sweetly that Marcille thinks she might lose herself in them. The tireless work of Falin's fingers does little to tether her to reality.
“But since everything happened, I can't stop thinking about it.” There's breath against her too now; Marcille shudders, impatient for Falin’s tongue. “I need to taste you. I need to have it. I need—”
Then, as though she cannot contain herself any longer, Falin sinks her teeth deep into the flesh of Marcille's thigh.

Now the world is supposedly right again, Marcille realizes that she doesn't always know how to handle the remnants of the dragon still residing within Falin.
It doesn't take long for her to discover that it sure knows how to handle her.
