The air’s wrenched from Izuku’s lungs like an airplane door flying open. Thick eyeliner is smudged over the blazing scarlet eyes that had enraptured him, striking as sunstones. He hopes it’s the alcohol that’s making him imagine grabbing the drummer and pulling him close, because the alternative is that he’s lost his mind.
His glare narrows into a squint, and it’s enough to send a wave of heat through Izuku. “You’re not fucking me.”
Izuku runs into a familiar face at a local band’s set.

Still, Katsuki never bothered to waste his time on wondering how it would feel. He’s training to be a hero, not daydreaming about warm lips dragging down his neck, soft green curls under his fingers—fuck.
When Izuku opens the door, Katsuki doesn’t hesitate. "Give me a hickey."

“Hey guys, guys! Hey, chill!” Izuku shrieks frantically, right as one of the players boards their ship and starts shooting. “CHILL THE FUCK OUT!”

The hero course was hard, but admittedly, this year's first years had it harder than previous years. From the USJ to the attack on the training camp, these kids just couldn’t catch a break. At least they were all coping with their stress fairly healthily.
Except, of course, Izuku Midoriya. His eye bags just kept getting darker and darker and his stuttering became more frequent and yet he still wouldn't talk to anybody.

He already has one point for not trapping his brother inside a vault (the urge is strong though), so it’s clear he should be satisfied. But, to his future unfortunate victims' luck, Izuku wasn’t satisfied yet, replicating another one of his father’s vices—the inability to feel content.
To feed his never-ending hunger for greatness, Izuku strives to be better than his father once again. In what area will he best All for One, you may ask? Quite simple, actually—

Summary
What if Izuku had been faster with Eri, a little bolder even with no quirk?
After getting his dreams crushed by all might, Izuku takes a hard look at himself. He joins online communities that challenge his thinking, he finds joy in sleight of hand magic and Izuku realizes that his childhood was spent in depression, but with some help and exercise he's gained some semblance of control over his life. Izuku made other friends in the community, almost working in the not doing legal conditions to get by.
After a string of his friends disappear along with old acquaintances from his middle school, Izuku makes connections that even the police haven't seen yet. When he learns they won't do anything for them yet, he takes matters into his own hands, taking trips into the city to get information and leads.
One such trip leads a little girl in rags to bump into him. He notices, and doesn't wait for a hero to save her.

Field trips have never been great for Midoriya Izuku, but when the trip to the USJ takes a turn for the worst, it probably takes the cake for the worst field trip he's ever been on (which is saying something, he got left behind once when he was 6 and that was a nightmare and a half).
He has to navigate the League of Villains and get out with all his limbs, keeping Shigaraki Tomura from getting mad, and if he's careful, he might swing a quirk out of it.
Aizawa Shouta, meanwhile, is at a loss as to how to get his kid back. His quirkless student has a lot of knives and a lot of heart, but they have no leads as to where the League could have taken him, and as soon as some heroes hear "quirkless," they write him off.
