Summary
"I’ve never made a Father’s Day card before“, Yuji chimes in suddenly. He looks down at his plate to curate the next perfect bite. „The teachers always let me draw something else when the other kids made their cards.“ He shoves his food into his mouth and starts chewing. „I think they felt bad for me, maybe.“
For a moment, uncomfortable silence falls over the room. Nobara and Megumi exchange a glance as Yuji chews his food, seemingly unaware of the sudden mood shift he accidentally caused. Her experience wasn’t that different from his, though. She never made a Father’s Day card, either, and her Mother’s Day cards turned into „Grandma cards“ once her mother disappeared, and from what little she knows about Megumi’s family situation, she concludes that these "parent appreciation days" were probably weird for him, too.
She kicks Megumi’s shin under the table. Megumi avoids her eyes and shifts in his chair before he throws a quick glance at Yuji, who is still chewing mindlessly.
„Okay“, he says reluctantly.

Or: Nobara, Yuji and Megumi decide to make a Father's Day card for Gojo. Jokingly, of course. Or maybe not.
