“I’ve found another way to piss my father off, and I’d like one of the guys to help me with it, if you’re willing.” Todoroki examined the room, but everyone was quiet, riveted to his words. “He doesn’t like gay people, so,” Todoroki looked down at his clenched fist with a wild look in his eyes, “I need a boyfriend by the end of the day.” He looked up again, studying everyone. “Is there anyone willing to work with me on this?”
Into the silence that followed that proclamation, Kaminari said, “Duuuuuuuude, I’m down! I’ll be your fake boyfriend!”

In a normal, completely sane story, a stalker and the object of their obsession would never get together. The love would never fall for the stalker, would never look at the invasion of privacy and just shrug. Saying, ‘as long as they don’t go through my underwear drawer and don’t put cameras in the bathroom, I’m okay.’ No sane person would be okay with someone following them, sending them gifts, bugging their favorite cafe (specifically their table) along with buying all their food and drinks, paying for their rent, and sending them subtle love letters and sometimes weird texts, and just roll their eyes. Turning to where they knew there was a camera and glare saying they don’t need a sugar daddy. That they can take care of themselves.
That was Izuku and Katsuki's relationship in a nutshell. An obsessed 30-year-old multi billionaire pining after an 18-year-old just out of school manga artist in the making with no more than $100 in their bank account.
