They cracked.
“If I give you what you want… will you stop?”
Jungkook tilted his head. “You already know the answer.”
A long pause.
And then—Taehyung did the unthinkable.
He reached out.
And curled his fingers around Jungkook’s wrist.
“Fine,” he breathed, voice barely there. “You win.”
Jungkook’s expression didn’t gloat.
It softened.
And that was worse.
Because this wasn’t revenge anymore.
This was claiming.
“You’ll marry me,” Jungkook whispered.
Taehyung nodded.
“But not because you love me,” he said bitterly.
Jungkook smiled faintly, brushing a thumb over the back of his hand.
“Not yet.”
