Ranboo knows the secret identities of every single hero, villain and vigilante in L’manberg. He just doesn’t know it. What he does know, is they all, for some reason, make a point to never fight anywhere close to the coffee shop he works in, and that most of his regulars are nice people who tip a lot and very unprompted.
EDIT: It's been over a year since I started this, and the few plans I had never got written out, despite how much I love this AU. QSMP completely took over my brain when it started last year, not long after I started this one, and I started writing a lot for QSMP (I have so many wips in my docs that it's not even funny anymore lol) and everything else went on the back burner. I also have some characters to write out of this one because yikes.
Point is: never expect updates from me, writer's block almost always has a firm hold on me kekw. Also, I'm more of a crow now than a particle orz

In a world where heroes and villains exist, the media is full of their incredible feats and many companies wanted to discover what is hidden in that world full of magic and people with powers.
However, no one succeeded, there was no way to get information beyond the surface.
Tommy, a young journalist and a huge fan of heroes, is determined to create an article about them so perfect and complete that no one can ever match it and it will be seen worldwide.
To do that, he's going to have to do what no one else dared to do.

Tommy's called Blindspot for a reason. He’s not invisible, as he’s reminded Dream time and time again - people can definitely see him. They just don’t notice. He blends into plain sight, totally diverting all attention like water off of a duck.
Usually, anyway. Orpheus, however, stiffens a little as Tommy draws nearer. He starts glancing around, as if struck by sudden paranoia. Tommy draws up in front of him, staff clenched in one hand, and Orpheus starts turning as if to check behind him.
“What’s that,” Orpheus mutters. “Who’s there-“
Tommy pulls his staff back and slams it into Orpheus’s stomach, hard.
Orpheus stumbles. He wheezes, choking, and then looks up at Tommy and fixes him with a burning stare.
“Who the fuck are you,” Orpheus says, eyes wild and oddly delighted. “Where were you hiding?”

Suspected of betraying the Hero Guild, Apprentice hero Tommy (A.K.A. Blindspot) is put under Security Protocol Catbag: a locked-on noise cancelling mask equipped with truth gas. His mentor, Dream, calls it a necessary teaching tool.
Meanwhile, SBI wants to know why their least favorite loudmouth little Hero has suddenly stopped talking.
