Arisu turns to the box, pulling the tabs open before smoothing them down, leaving the contents of it completely exposed. He takes a step back, gesturing towards himself, inviting Chishiya to take a look. The blond eyes him with suspicion, stepping forward and looking down. His eyes land on, not some sort of lizard as he feared, or god forbid a rodent, but rather a very small black and orange kitten sitting on a soft pink towel, who meows happily at him. Needless to say, it’s a pleasant surprise.
“Huh.” Is all he can say. Judging by the wide eyed, somewhat impressed expression he takes, he doesn’t seem angry, like, at all. He reaches forward, holding the back of his hand up to the kitten, who sniffs it before seemingly deciding that he’s a friend, and nuzzles its small face against him, to which he scratches it affectionately. “What’s his name- is he a he?”
