Claptrap feels unsure of himself. He feels like every glance he meets burrows into his core and fills it with dread.
He's never really felt like this. He's always been seen as this annoying creature and up until now he's lived with it and tolerated it to amazing results.
So why is it that today was the day he could take no more? Why does he feel so terrible?
More importantly, why does he see them? He doesn't know how or why.
Figments of his imagination?
Or are they truly acting from beyond their fates, and conversing with him?
Claptrap could never truly tell. Because out of the three, he only remembers one.

They became friends here, in this little establishment somewhere within Concordia. It all started with a last-minute caper, drinks were shared, worries comforted into reassurance, and drunken robots thrown out for being annoying.
Two of those friends come back to the Up Over Bar, and reminisce the good old days.
The days where Moxxi didn't turn on them because of him.

Summary
There were many things about humans and their various behaviors that puzzled Fl4k. They'd given up on trying to understand a lot of them. Things like mating rituals and the use of various substances to induce intoxication were both things where, even if they asked, all they got were vague non answers or conflicting answers.
But, after the Heist of the Handsome Jackpot, they and their pack were sifting through loot, and amongst Freddie's things, they found something curious. A modification that claimed to allow robots to utilize drugs and alcohol along with humans.
Perhaps they could finally figure out for themself why humans enjoyed intoxication so much

Saved from some alien wildlife by an odd sniper going by the name Mordecai, he quickly realizes he's a long way from Night City, or even Earth Itself. Hearing from Mordie's ECHO that another dude by the name of Brick had a run-in with a chick with "Building Block Arms", David intends to pick the crew back up, preferably before cyberpsychosis picks him back up.
