Summary
Armand teases as Daniel snaps out of his thoughts. They both have this bad habit of getting lost in their own consciousness, and while Armand would say it’s something they both need to work on, Daniel’s simply cross that Armand can read his mind while Daniel’s left guessing. The bright side of this ordeal is that Daniel’s mental tangents can easily become a new subject of conversation. What’s more is because Daniel’s mind never stops turning, the broadcast always tuned to some station or the other, no matter the hour, he and Armand never run out of things to talk about.

He refuses to meet Daniel’s gaze, only holding his hand still before pulling open the front door. “Are you ready?” Armand asks. Daniel notes the rare grin that appears on his face, fangs and all, before his lips settle into an earnest smile.
Daniel’s fucking frozen, and can only manage a nod. “Yeah."Armand likes to play games with Daniel.

Summary
Edward slinks towards the bar, awkwardly taking a seat and grabbing a menu. He had been standing at the door for a minute arguably too long, distracted by his own thoughts. It shouldn’t have been that strange of a delay given the late hour, but his spine still crawls with paranoia. “A coffee, please. And…pumpkin pie,” He watches as the waitress writes down his order and takes the menu from his hands. The thought that she doesn’t even know these are the same hands that just killed a man flashes through his mind, and he can barely hide the smile that creeps up his face.
It’s a wicked thought, that none of the poor people surrounding him, with their faces buried in books or laptops, or even the waitress that solemnly pours his coffee as the clock strikes midnight, know that the odd man with glasses at the end of the bar is a murderer. A murderer on the track to being citywide - if not worldwide famous very soon.
(Or; A documentation of Edward Nashton's visits to the cafe near his apartment over the course of his reign of terror as "The Riddler," as well as all of the people he meets.)
