Summary
After a fragile peace treaty is signed, the now united factions all board the Nemesis to travel back to Cybertron and rebuild it, leaving Earth behind them and spreading the message of the newfound peace to all scattered Cybertronians in the universe.
During the last standoff against the Quintesson invaders, Soundwave's visor shattered irreparably - which means the one thing that subdued his outlier ability is gone for good. Now, he struggles to maintain appearances while being constantly assaulted by everyone's thoughts around him.Even if the title may suggest it, this has nothing to do with Shattered Glass. This fic takes place in a TFP post-war AU where the Autobots and Decepticons joined forces against the Quintessons and won. We're skipping like all of season three here (so you could say, the Quintesson invasion happened instead of Beast Hunters). So no Predacons and no Shockwave.

It still seemed weird to Miko that you could drive for hours in America and be inside the same region. In the early days of her exchange here, she'd asked about it a lot. "Are we still in Nevada?" "Still Nevada?" "Still Nevada?" and the bleak desert landscape had stretched on and on and on, into the horizon and, apparently, forever.
