My therapist, Miss Schmidt, a nice old lady with grey eyes and grey hair, gave me this workbook. She says it's supposed to help me “work through” my feelings. I don't see why; I just finished a pretty long essay for English class about what had happened, and I sure felt pretty content with myself afterwards. But I dig writing okay, so I'll do it. She gave me a list of questions to answer, she said she ain’t gonna read my workbook at all so I should be open and honest as possible. I wouldn’t have really minded either way. I ain’t too hot on telling people things about me, well, I mean I can write ‘em out okay, I just can’t speak ‘em too good. I get all worked up and show too much emotion, which I guess Miss Schmidt wants me to do, but I sure don't like it one bit. Anyway, the first thing it says on that piece of scrap paper full of questions is-
