    What would Simon do if the Bridgertons did not get rid of Berbrooke? Exactly how far was he willing to go for a ruse?

     

    AU where the Bridgertons are not able to stop Daphne’s engagement to Berbrooke leaving Simon to go to the most extreme measures to keep her away from Nigel: eloping to Scotland. Story picks up at the end of Ep. 1 and the first couple chapters will be mostly retelling scenes from the beginning of the season but quickly goes canon divergent (about chapter 4 for this fic)
