Summary
Daniel sobs and wails, blood crusting underneath his fingers. His hands tremble, as he doubles over, forehead pressed into the dashboard.
He can’t do this.
He can’t.

Summary
“Rest, then.”
The words slip out before he can stop them. He doesn’t look at Atsushi, but he feels the weight of his presence beside him, warm and solid.
“Now,” he continues, quieter, “you have all the time in the world to look.”
He doesn’t need to turn his head to know Atsushi is smiling. Like the complete fool he is.

Why do people pursue this sort of thing?
Why do they think it's fun? Pleasurable?
Well, now he understands it. It's good. It's so good, that in fact, it almost makes him want to never stop, even. They should stop. This isn’t a good-

Summary
“Damn, Caulfield.” Chloe threads one hand through her hair, fingernails blunt and scraping. “That’s pretty gay.”
"You’re pretty gay,” Max snorts, but it loses its bite when she’s breathless and palming at Chloe’s hip where her pants ride down and the heavy band of her boxers is visible.
(Or, five times Max rewound time to preserve the sanctity of friendship, and one time she didn't.)

Summary
“Well, what have you been up to?”
“What, in the last,” Todd glances at his watch, “two and a half hours? Nothing.”
“Nothing,” Neil quietly repeats, and sighs. “I don’t believe that for a second.”
“What could I possibly have been doing?”
“I don’t know,” Neil shrugs. “I mean, even if you sat there the entire time, that’s still more than nothing.” He wriggles around until he props up on an elbow and leans to face Todd, squinting at him. “You can’t fool me, Anderson.” He presses a finger against his temple, and flops back onto his bed. “I know you’ve got a whole world up there.”Todd has revelations - some about love, but mostly about writing. They're the same thing, in the end.

Summary
"I was hoping..." Neil peered back up at him with those fervent eyes before he broke his inconspicuous character and cracked a smile, "my favorite scene partner would help me test it out?"
In the midst of Todd's continual crisis of what exactly Neil's "no" means, Neil asks him to read from a scene from Orestes. You know, for practice.

Summary
He laughed humorlessly. “What do you think about instead?”
“There’s a yellow house,” he whispered. “With big dormer windows and lots of shutters and white trim. And a garden all around it, and a long porch. And a fence.”
“A house?” Neil echoed. “Who’s house?”
He couldn’t fight his sleepy smile. “My house.”Or 5 times Neil and Todd thought of their escape and 1 time they actually had it
