The persistent buzzing of his phone woke him up in the middle of the night. He glanced at the side table, searching for the alarm clock. 4 AM. Historically, no random series of notifications at four in the morning had ever brought on something positive in Tyler’s life.
His screen lit up his face as he clicked on one of the mentions on X.@aspen_chriss_09: ok, so I guess the breakup with deb is going…bad? good? does @tylerjoseph know about this?
@savannahsxm3: @tylerjoseph, care to get drummer boy back on his leash?”The pictures piled up on his feed. They were grainy and taken from afar, but you couldn’t possibly mistake the tattoos and black and red hair for anyone else.
Josh was making out with a guy, in a club alleyway.

Those were the last words Josh and Tyler exchanged before they told their management and label that they wouldn’t make another album. Wouldn’t go on tour again. Wouldn’t even be in a band together anymore.
And Josh knows that somehow it was his fault as well. But he still couldn’t stop being mad at Tyler for how things ended. Not even 3 years later.

“So are you.” Alejandro chuckles, a soft rumble in his chest that Phillip can feel resonate inside his own. His cheeks flush, his lips part. It’s incredible, he thinks, how his body responds to the other man with no hesitation, no doubt. As if he was made for Alejandro. It makes him feel insane.
