One night, after exiting the college library late at night during winter break, Deacon stands outside on a raised walkway for a moment of solitude.
There, he meets a pale man named Nox. While the strange fellow seems polite, Deacon also gets a sort of cold, melancholic vibe from him. He's distant and strange, even as their relationship begins to grow, always diverting the subject away from himself, almost as if he's guarding a secret.
Nox carried a heavy burden: an ancient curse that transforms him into stone in the morning light. Only at sunset does he regain his human form--yet, even then, he remains numb to physical sensations.
Follow the tale of two young men as they struggle to understand the meaning of true love and attempt to break a centuries-old curse, only passed down from one kissed victim to the next.
