It is good for the prince to hold fear at Techno. He’s rightfully earned such a thing, heavy respect torn from bloody acts made at battle. But as much as Technoblade feels that fear should not be forgotten-- this is different. This isn’t the same as any other interaction with his subjects. This is his prince. His heir. He doesn’t want the child to bow and scrape without any hint of fight.

Summary
Phil, Wilbur, and Tommy accepted a job that tasked them with collecting a legendary weapon from a ruined castle, abandoned decades ago by its power-hungry nobility. They did not expect this weapon to be a person, trained with the sole purpose of serving in their master's wars.
Faced with a man who has lost all concept of being anything but a weapon, they decide on the only logical course of action: to take the Blade home.

Summary

Bdubs has done well for himself, thank you very much! He's got a ship, he's got business, he's got friends! A man needs nothing more in the grand universe.
It's hard being a human in the great beyond; a new species to the intergalactic community means poachers, a black market, and an everpresent danger.
The solution? Simple! Don't be a human.
Obviously, it's not going to be as easy as that. Not when he finds himself joining the crew of the Hermit Craft, not when he learns he's not quite alone.

Summary
No one ever promised Technoblade safety before.
Plenty of people have offered him plenty of things, but they were always presented as deals. Techno gives himself to them in exchange for something: renown, his life, an escape route off a dying planet. It all seems the same after enough time, and this latest server is no different. The revolution that was supposed to come of it never did.
Techno is tired and done with it all. Frankly, he doesn't even care if there's an age minimum for retiring. If he wants safety, he obviously has to make it for himself.
