On that note: Strahm was… stranger than he let on. Stranger than he’d like anyone to believe.
It’d taken a little while for it to become apparent. Unfortunately for Strahm, he was not immune to being known. Closeness begged for it. Seamless camouflage turned into the stuff of dreams; hairline cracks grew thick and deep and let much seep past the barrier he’d drawn up.
Inevitability was the name of the game.
