“Hello Lily’s dad, don’t be shy!” Pixie says, indulging him to interact with them on stage and the man gives in, shaking his head and laughing as he looks up and Louis can finally see his face.

It’s like something clicks for him. He hadn’t even paid attention to the name when Lily first said it, but as soon as he looks at the man, the name catches up with the face.

    Harry.

Louis can’t see much from afar, obviously, and also it’s been almost twelve years since Louis last saw the boy’s – now a man – face, but he knows it’s him. How could it not be?

Harry, whom he met at bootcamp, that cute boy with a head full of curls, shiny green eyes, rosy lips, a voice of an angel, who happened to pee on him. Of course he would remember Harry.

When Harry’s daughter auditions for The Voice Kids singing One Direction, Louis unexpectedly finds himself remembering a boy from his past. This time, he hopes to have another chance to make sure he won’t let him slip away.

    “Just. How bad is it?”

    Zayn sighs. Shit.

“Not that bad, really,” he says quickly as he scans Louis’ face. “It depends, really. The freshmen are all right and I think you’ll manage just fine with the sophomores.”

    “But?”

“Seniors are always shit because they think they rule the school, and this specific class of juniors… Well, let’s say you’ll find a real troublemaker there. Some say he used to be a soft kid, but- I don’t know. Most teachers just leave him alone.” Zayn shrugs. “He walks around with a tough crowd. Guess no one wants to take their chances with him. This is Chicago after all.”

“D’you know the name of the kid?” Louis asks, already very curious to meet said person.

“His name is Harry Styles.” The other man responds. “You’re in for a treat with this one.”

“Harry? Hey, listen to me,” Louis says, frantic. “You have your location turned on, don’t you? I’m going to come to you, okay? I need you to stay there. Don’t move. I’ll be there in a few minutes.” Louis’ voice sounds muffled suddenly, meaning he probably pulled the phone away from his face. “He’s having a seizure. Yes, I’m sure. Just meet me over there. He’s over by Liberty Square.”

His head starts to feel strange next. It’s similar to sensations he’s had when he used to drink. The pavement stretching before him looks crooked, tilted almost. The sight makes him feel sick to his stomach.

Or, when at Disney, not everything is as magical as it's thought to be.
