Summary
Nevertheless, it would not be said that Qi Qingqi was not a proud woman. Before she herself declared the man hopeless, she was willing to give him one chance. Hence, she stood in front of the Warm Red Pavilion. Not that the words of her martial brothers were untrustworthy, but where was the proof of a crime without the victim’s verdict? She had heard a couple of righteous men proclaim what they saw, but where were the women? Well, notably, here.
Qi Qingqi steeled herself as she noted nothing too out of sorts with the building itself. Imposing wood standing three floors high, but decorated with bright reds in a way that was impossible to miss. It clearly wasn't open for business yet, as there was little road traffic, but she knew it would be the busiest brothel in this little city once the sun set.
OR: Qi Qingqi decides to confirm the truth about Shen Qingqiu herself. The women of the Warm Red Pavilion are many things, but they are not snitches.

Liu Qingge growled, seizing Shen Qingqiu by the collar of his inner robe. A tearing sound ripped through the air as Shen Qingqiu’s robe split. They both froze. Both looked down. Shen Qingqiu’s chest was now exposed to the waist. His cheeks heated as he whipped his gaze back up.
“You–” he spat. “Look what you’ve done!”
Liu Qingge’s eyes cut down to Shen Qingqiu’s bare chest, then back up to his eyes, then back down again. Repeat after repeat.-or-
Liu Qingge buys Shen Qingqiu a new set of robes after he accidentally destroys the previous set. They have an unexpected side effect.

It was supposed to be the last mission involving both him and Shen Qingqiu, as Liu Qingge swore any more day spent with his arch nemesis would send him to a qi deviation.
Shen Qingqiu, for whatever foolish reason, ingested a love potion left at the scene. And now he won't stop leaving Liu Qingge alone.
The worst part? Liu Qingge began to think he quite liked the idea of having Shen Qingqiu around.
