The serenity of Kai's voice, just a hair above a whisper, was cut through by obvious nerves, a tremble that he couldn't disguise even if he tried. Taehyun hummed in response, a little distracted by how uncomfortable and wet the inside of his sweatpants were feeling now that the moment had died, his skin itching.
"When we wake up tomorrow, will this have still happened? Or is this something you just want me to forget about?"
Kai looks at Taehyun like he’s in love with him, and Taehyun can’t tell where the script ends and his heart begins.

The boy is standing beneath the stage lights, ethereal in the simplest thing: an oversized green knitted beanie, fluffy and soft, the stitches curling up just so at the corners until it looks like cat ears sprouting from his head. The crowd loses its mind, shrieking with delight, but Taegoo hears none of it. His blood roars in his ears, heat slamming into him with such force it almost buckles him forward in his seat.

Summary
