Every ending is true, in some other universe.
A woman involved with the worst person in the Liu Huang Hui finds herself tasked with cutting the threads of fate, while Yang and Liliana are unknowingly caught in a web of cause and consequence. At the end of everything, only one version of events will remain. No matter who survives—or who has regrets.
A mostly psychological tale where more battles are fought with words than with weapons. Linearly non-linear, dark but not graphic, plays with the idea of the multiple-ending game narrative but in a dead serious way, slightly weird. [Also very much a Yuan/OC story with a barely functional dynamic that tries to answer "how would this even work". Spoilers: it doesn't.]
***Extensive spoilers for both Piofiore Fated Memories (Ricordo) and Episodio 1926. But just the Yang routes. Mostly.
[2022 edit: I noticed there was a proper character tag for Yuan now so I fixed it...which inadvertently moved him to the very end of the character list. I have been unable to fix it. I think that's what he would want]

Lady Amangeaux made a living out of expecting the unexpected, finding patterns from nothing, drawing silvery truths from dirty, disguised life. She was a spymaster Karna would have been proud to see at work, a true master of her craft. The emperor, bulb bless his soul, had moved with a precision and knowledge that seemed divine to people unaware of her existence, failing to recognize similarities in the faces that haunted their peripheries.
It did not, in fact, take her spymaster skills to be unsurprised at Colin winding up on her doorstep again, leaning heavily onto his left leg and clutching a poorly bandaged right shoulder.
