Summary
Tsukasa starts down the hallway. He doesn’t have a destination. Wherever he’d want to go, he probably wouldn’t be allowed, and he knows how it would go if his stepfather found out he’d been exploring where he wasn’t meant to. Whatever. The nature of it won’t change.
The lights are dim—it is quiet—everyone is asleep, except for him. Even the guard near the dungeons, he is slumped down, keys loose in his palm. The padlock sits on the handle of the door, ever so tempting. Tsukasa could always visit the prisoners. They’re children, kind children, though he does think that they might be scared of him. They think he is like his father.

Tsukasa is a prince, stepfathered by Aoyagi Harumichi, the king.
Rui is an alchemist, forced out of society underneath the Aoyagi's cruel regime.
Surely nothing bad will come out of any of this.

Summary
Chuuya is fascinating. Not in the same way that Odasaku is. He cares so much, about everything and nothing. About his men—they’re pawns, Dazai has tried to tell him before, but it’s no use, because Chuuya still goes out and learns all of their names. Beats himself up when they die anyway. It’s heartbreaking and so, so interesting.
He burns like a fire. Out of all the people in the darkness that he’s met—and that’s practically everyone—Chuuya is the most alive. He looks at him and sees his skin and the rise and fall of his chest as he breathes and the way his eyebrows furrow with irritation and sees someone so painstakingly human. Standing beside him, he feels like a ragdoll. He also feels alive. What a weird contradiction.
Dazai’s plastic smile falls as he looks at Chuuya for a moment, out of the corner of his eye. He’s beautiful to him in a way that nobody else ever has been.
It’s alright. Chuuya won’t miss him.

Summary
Chuuya rolls his eyes and takes the tip of the index finger in his mouth, pulling the glove off his hand with his teeth with surprising ease. Dazai catches a glimpse of his tongue piercing which he certainly didn’t have when they were teenagers.
Dazai blinks a few times.
Chuuya puts his glove in his pocket and sighs, hooking his thumb underneath his other glove and sliding it off as well. He rubs his eyes with the heels of his hand then glances at Dazai. Who, in his defense, hadn’t even realized he’d been staring.
Whatever. It’s not his fault that Chuuya has sexy hands.

Selfishly, disgustingly, he really likes Tsukasa. This is just like the Chernobyl disaster, he thinks sourly, barely disguising his panic. This is just like when they dropped the bomb on Hiroshima. This is a disaster because Rui cannot be in love with Tsukasa. Anyone but him. He’d ruin anyone else with his parasitical self, but not Tsukasa.

It took Chuuya approximately two hours to calm down enough to head home. Two hours of walking the streets of Yokohama. Two hours of trying to make sense of the stupid fight they had (because it was. It was so stupid looking back on it. Dazai said something flippant, Chuuya took offense, they argued, Dazai off-handedly said that maybe he should move out, Chuuya panicked and yelled at him and then ended up leaving first). Two hours before he realized he hadn't told Dazai he was coming back.
Or: There are still things about each other that Dazai and Chuuya don't know, and learning them isn't always an easy feat.

Summary
It’s just Chuuya’s morning look, nothing special, but Dazai thinks he has never seen a sight as beautiful as the one he’s looking at right now. Chuuya is breathtaking. A sight for sore eyes — like something straight out of Dazai’s dreams. He actually wouldn’t mind waking up to the sight of this every morning.
Dazai freezes as the thought registers in his mind fully. The look on his face must be incredulous, because the smile melts off of Chuuya’s lips and his eyebrows furrow instead. “What?”
Dazai clears his throat. “Nothing! I was just thinking about how I shouldn’t be here and that I should definitely go."
Dazai Osamu swears that Nakahara Chuuya is only his friend-with-benefits, until he accidentally stays the night and wakes up to the breathtaking sight of Chuuya in the morning, and all of a sudden Chuuya is more than just his fuck buddy.

He looked over at the group of agency members nearby and watched them for a few seconds. Then his face morphed into a grin, a wild thing full of mischief, and he turned his attention back to Dazai. “You’re lucky I’m possessive too.”or
Dazai recently decided he wanted to reveal his relationship with Chuuya to the agency. Coincidentally, the agency had an event planned outside of work, one that required Dazai to carpool with the others, take the train, or find a ride of his own. As one was practically obligated to do when they had a hot boyfriend that owned a motorcycle, Dazai took the opportunity to show off his relationship by having his boyfriend drive him there on his motorcycle.

Summary
Chuuya Nakahara, hot and popular. That was Dazai’s only impression of the guy. He had a thing for taking people back to his apartment, and then ruining sex for them forever. He was that good. He also was that big, inches that didn’t go to his height. At least, that’s all Dazai had heard of Chuuya. Actually, if Dazai had cared at all he may have realized that Chuuya and sex went hand in hand. Chuuya as a person was a mystery. Chuuya as an amazing hook up was very well known.

Everyone wants Chuuya, but Dazai doesn't even care about the guy. So what happens when one hookup turns into a couple, and a couple turns into some feelings. And, fuck, Dazai definitely cares about the guy now.
