Laurent never finished his sentence because a ridiculously big and totally overpriced bouquet of boring red roses smacked him in the face. His coffee splashed on the ground, staining his grey coat and his shoes. On instinct, he turned and saw a ridiculously big man with dark curls and dark skin who angrily walked away until he, as if feeling Laurent’s shocked gaze on the back of his head, turned and stopped. His brown eyes widened when he saw the mess on Laurent’s coat and shoes.Laurent hates Valentine's Day, but when a gorgeous man with a dimple in his cheek bumps into him on the street, something changes.

Summary
Laurent is a ragdoll, pulled down into the dark at improbable speed. The lift it makes in his stomach is odd, like the giddy drop on a rollercoaster. A moment of elation, perhaps, before he dies.
He breaks the surface.
His gasping mouth now pulls in air, his feet firmly on the rock bottom of the spring and legs holding him up unshakably. Water streams from his head, down his body, as though a bucket had been dumped over his head. He reaches up to push his sopping hair from his eyes.
“Naiad,” a voice says.
Laurent stills. Psychological collapse should be allowed, by the universe, to be a solitary affair, especially when it happens in a state of complete undress. It’s unfair on a cosmic level that Laurent should be happened upon by a stranger in his current condition.

On holiday with his brother in Ios, Laurent bathes in a hot spring. Unfortunately, he drowns. Even more unfortunately, when he surfaces somehow, he finds himself thrust back in time. Summary
The apple is an easy target. It is gripped by long, thick fingers, and with a practiced twist and an application of strength, splits down the centre in a spray of juice, as though that is simply how apples are supposed to work. The man laughs, a rich and buoyant sound, and flicks an errant chunk of apple from his cheekbone. Each half is still held in a secure, clawed hand.
“Broke that one open for you real quick,” he says, gravelled yet cheery, in rapid Akielon. He then takes a large bite of the apple, still grinning as he chews.
Laurent frowns.
He had begun with strength training videos. He is not entirely sure how he ended up here. The algorithm had seemed well content to show him what he was looking for, up until this fruit-splitting brute.

When Auguste suggests an Akielon holiday as a break from their Christmas monotony, Laurent is not expecting anything but boredom on a beach. That is, until he meets the fetish video creator who he has been obsessing over for the past few weeks.
