Summary

Now, Rhaenyra has a bargaining chip that could help her keep the succession crisis restricted to a war of ravens, and she has a marriage scheme she believes will resolve everyone's problems for good. Alicent isn't so sure Rhaenyra's ideas will work any better for her now than they have in the past. Between frustration with her old (former?) friend's political decisions and a desperate hope that she might keep all her children alive, Alicent finds herself working with the Blacks to build up Rhaenyra's base of power.

Oh, this is the most realistic Rhaenicent yet. Daemon is involved because the author is fairly well committed to realism, and the reality is, most queers in the past had no choice but to be involved in a het marriage. I love it.

Summary
An alternative ending to A Dish Best Served Cold, which leads to the start of a new story.
A Dish Best Served Cold portrayed Sansa as a villain, albeit with some good qualities. Here, she is more morally ambiguous. She had an outstanding record in The Great Patrotic War, beginning at Stalingrad. But, she is in service to evil men, has worked to snuff out freedom in parts of Eastern Europe, is a torturer, and commanded a prison camp (unwillingly).
One should be careful about judging the moral compromises made by people who live under dictatorships. Most of us would do the same.
This is tagged "BAMF Sansa" among other things. That does not imply that Sansa is a saint. But, anyone who fought with distinction at Stalingrad and during Operation Bagration, and was awarded the Order of the Red Banner by Zhukov is unquestionably, a BAMF.

I should add, this tale was written prior to the Putin's invasion of Ukraine. I apologise in advance for any offence that may be caused by the depiction of oppression of Ukrainians by the USSR.
